FitSpot Cleaning Services Sdn. Bhd. (“FitSpot”, “we”, “us”) operates the website fitspot.my. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).
1. Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it or when it is generated by your use of the site:
- Enquiry details — your name, mobile number, email address, the service you are interested in and the description of your property that you submit through our contact form or send us by phone, email or WhatsApp.
- Service records — booking history, service addresses, access instructions and billing details for customers who engage our services.
- Technical data — anonymised usage information such as browser type, device class and pages visited, collected through cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and perform cleaning services, issue invoices and receipts, maintain service quality records, and comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting requirements. We may occasionally contact existing customers about service updates or scheduling; you may opt out of such messages at any time.
3. What We Never Do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We do not send third-party marketing. We do not collect more data than the service genuinely requires.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
Data is shared only with parties essential to delivering our services: our scheduling and invoicing software providers, our bank and payment processors for transactions, and regulatory authorities where disclosure is required by Malaysian law. All service providers are bound by confidentiality obligations.
5. Storage and Security
Personal data is stored on access-controlled systems located in Malaysia and Singapore. Access is limited to staff who need it to perform their duties. We retain enquiry data for up to 12 months and customer records for 7 years as required by tax legislation, after which data is securely deleted.
6. Your Rights
Under the PDPA you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate data, withdraw consent to processing, or request deletion where we have no legal obligation to retain it.
